I'm Daniel H. Nall, engineer, architect and building energy conservation specialist. I've been professionally active in this field for over 35 years. I've been lucky enough to have participated in the design of some of the most innovative energy efficient buildings in the world.
Daniel H. Nall is Director of Sustainability for WSP Flack + Kurtz, a professional engineer, a Fellow of the AIA, a LEED Fellow, and an ASHRAE Distinguished Lecturer. Daniel H. Nall is Vice Chair of the ASHRAE Standard 189 committee and is a member of the ASHRAE Building Energy Quotient (bEQ) Oversight Committee. Daniel H. Nall is a member of the New York City Department of Buildings Sustainability Review Board and was a member of the New York City Green Code Task Force. Daniel H. Nall has been a member of the committees for the ASHRAE 50% Advanced Energy Design Guide for Medium Size Office Buildings, the 50% AEDG for Medium and Big Box Retail Buildings and was a member of the Project Committees for four of the ASHRAE 30% AEDG publications. Daniel H. Nall was a Director of the USGBC NY Chapter, the AIA National Committee on the Environment, and Vice Chairman of the USGBC Energy and Atmosphere Technical Advisory Group. Daniel H. Nall was one of Engineering News Record’s “Newsmakers of 2007.” Daniel H. Nall is a certified High Performance Building Design Professional and a certified Building Energy Modeling Professional. Daniel H. Nall has been a faculty member at the Schools of Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania, Princeton University, Cornell University and Columbia University. He has been involved in energy efficiency and sustainability in buildings for over 30 years and is the author of numerous papers in professional and technical journals.
